The surprise is that Treehenge is an actual place!

It is a circle of 12 ash trees planted in 1990 in Fort Collins, Colorado. At the center of the circle is a plaque and a time capsule, bearing the following inscription:

Lat. n 40° 35', Long. w 105° 5'
“TREE HENGE”
Planted 12:45 p.m.
April 21 1990

These 12 white ash trees were planted
in the circular shape of the earth by our
community to show our love and concern
for the earth.
